The silent and serene heights of

the "Char Dhams" or as
generally known in the Holy Scriptures as
Kedarkhand are located.

Yamunotri, Gangotri, Shri Kedarnath and Shri
Badrinath. It is this region from where
the holy rivers of India like Ganga came into existence.
Pilgrimage to “Char Dham Tour”
is taken visiting Yamunotri,
Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath in
the series.
Before entering
the abode of Gods through this pilgrimage, every
pilgrim washes away their sins by taking a dip
in the Holy waters of river Ganga at Har-Ki-Pauri,
Haridwar and hence the name, Haridwar,
