Sight-seeing tour of Old and New Delhi visiting
the Raj Ghat - the memorial at the site where
Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; drive past Red Fort

Moghul Empire; Jama Mosque -- the largest mosque
in India; Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, drive
along the ceremonial avenue -- Rajpath, past the
imposing India Gate, Parliament House and President's
Residence.

- Udaipur
Fly to Udaipur afternoon, sight-seeing tour of
Udaipur, stopping first at City Palace. Here you
will marvel at rooms with mirrored walls and ivory
doors, coloured glass windows and inlaid marble
balconies and the Peacock Courtyard. Also visit
the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari Gardens, the Jagdish
Temple and the Local Folk Museum. Overnight at

- Deogarh
Drive to Deogarh (184 Kms. / 5 Hrs.) early morning.
The Deogarh Castle is located on a hillock and
is encircled by the town. It was built in 1670
A.D. by Rawat Dwarkadasji of the Chundawat clan
of the Sisodia dynasty. Deogarh is a testimony
to their skilled craftsmanship. There are five
floors and over 200 rooms in the palace, numerous
balconies, carved pillars and extensive use
of marble make this palace attractive. Several
rooms of painting has acquired fame the world
over. The family has a large collection of Deogarh

- Luni
Early morning Drive to Luni (205 Kms.
/ 5 Hrs.). Fortchanwa of Luni lies 35
kms away from Jodhpur. It is an imposing
and well-maintained structure; over
a hundred years old. Built of the famous
red sandstone of Jodhpur, it has ornately
carved lattice work friezes and intricate
jharokhas. Its traditional gates lead
to a complex of coutryards, towers,
water wheels, stables, passages and
unexpected stairways leading to secret
pavilions and panoramic terraces. The
small village is home to many artisans
who work with
metal, clay or wood, keeping alive the
skills passed down over the centuries
by their ancestors. The noise and bustle
of the village settles down by evening
and all is quite as peace descends on
the desert. The fort with its huge gates
and protective walls stands proud and
strong under the spectacular canopy

temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow

arched gateway adorned with lord krishna and

Drive to Jaipur (42 km / 1 hr). Early morning
sight-seeing tour of Samode, visit the Samode
Palace, among the magnificent edifices that
adorn the region of Rajasthan. Nestled picturesquely

serene splendour. The quiet luxury offers a
retreat into an aesthetically beautiful environment.
